In 1987, ELTA began to offer courier services to the Greek market. The DOOR-DOOR service was the country's first courier service.
In 2000, ELTA launched a subsidiary firm, "TACHYMETAFORES ELTA S.A.", to continue the DOOR-TO-DOOR service.
The long-term experience, the modern organizational and operational model, and the skilled personnel are constantly gaining the trust of more and more businesses and consumers by delivering rapid and dependable express delivery of any goods to any place in Greece and around the world.
In September of 2024, the company "TACHYMETAFORES ELTA SA" merged with "HELLENIC POSTS S.A."
